Terms of Service

These terms apply to consulting services provided by Nicholas Colbert Consulting and to your use of this website.

This is starter language you can edit. It is not legal advice — please have your own attorney review it before relying on it.

Consulting services

Consulting is advisory in nature. Recommendations, strategies, and next steps are provided based on the information you share, and you remain responsible for the decisions you make and the actions you take.

Requests and scheduling

Submitting a consultation request does not confirm a session. Requests are reviewed and a session is confirmed by email, at which point the agreed time and any applicable payment instructions are provided.

Payment

No payment is required to submit a consultation request. Payment instructions are sent separately after a session is confirmed and are due as described in those instructions.

Rescheduling and cancellations

If you need to reschedule, please provide as much notice as reasonably possible so a new time can be arranged. Sessions may be rescheduled by mutual agreement.

Ongoing consulting

Ongoing consulting includes the scheduled sessions described for that service plus reasonable email support between sessions. Reasonable means a few short exchanges per month, briefly answered within two business days — not unlimited on-demand availability.

Confidentiality

Information you share during consulting is treated as confidential and used only to provide the services requested, unless disclosure is required by law.

No guarantee of results

No specific outcome, revenue, growth, or result is promised or guaranteed. Results depend on many factors outside of anyone's control, including your own implementation.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, liability arising from consulting services or use of this website is limited to the amount paid for the services in question.

Changes

These terms may be updated from time to time. The version posted on this page is the version that applies.
